Real Size Cars Characters at the Costa Rica Children’s Museum

The movie Cars 3 was just released in theaters worldwide, and now in Costa Rica fans of this great movie can take pictures with their favorite character at the Children’s Museum in San José.

Ten vehicles were transformed to look exactly like the characters in the move, Lightning McQueen, Mater, Luigi, Francesco, Guido are just part of the cars that will be in exhibition as of this Sunday, July 2nd and through July 16.

The exhibit, titled “Los Juguetes del Parqueo” (The parking lot toys) traveled from Guatemala and has already caused sensation among the little ones in other Central American countries.

The exhibit will also feature a racing track, tunnels with plenty of color and magic, pit zone, gas station, etc. Other activities will include hanging bridges and canopy for children and adults. All these with the idea that kids that are now on vacation have a different and enjoyable experience.

The Children Museum in San José opens Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. It features 40 different interactive exhibits and the entrance has a cost of just USD $6.50 per person.

The Children Museum announced through their Facebook page this morning that there was a delay in the arrival of the Cars characters, and the exhibit will open today at 11 a.m.
