The controversial actor has listed his ‘Playa Barrigona’ estate that is located on the Nicoya Pennisula. The estate includes three houses that all have scenic views of the Pacific Ocean. The main villa known as ‘Casa Guanacaste’ has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
The actor has tried to sell this exclusive property twice before unsuccessfully. In 2010 he listed the property for $35 million then in 2012 he listed again, soon after his divorce from wife Robin, for $29.8 million.
The hill-top estate was the scene of a controversial event in Gibson chaotic life. In 2012 the actor was recorded going crazy, ranting and screaming at his houseguests and was heard making disparaging remarks about his baby mama Oksana Grigorieva.
The award-winning actor has seen his acting roles dry up after his several DUI’s and after anti-Semitic remarks made in 2006.
