Santo Domingo, Jul 5 – The eighteenth meeting of the Central American and Dominican Republic Health Sector will bring together ministers and representatives from 10 countries today, said Bautista Rojas, the head of Health services.
The ministers and their representatives from Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua will attend, along with Cuba and Haiti as special guests.
Main topics of analysis include health and tourism, integral assistance to addictions, the sector’s preparedness and response to public health emergencies and disasters, water and sanitation, and quality health services without exclusion.
During the two-day meeting, participants will be able to advance mutual work agreements, as well as incorporate the analysis of the health situation resulting from recent events in their countries.
