Peruvian Food

Ceviche del Rey: As the name of the restaurant points it out, their specialty is the ceviche, and if you visit them, you have to start with their Filete de Corvina, and if you still have room after a main course such as a Causa Limena de Camarones, then you can try another Peruvian specialty, their famous Crema Volteada dissert (similar to the more well known flan). You can find Ceviche del Rey in Santa Ana (nearby the Red Cross), Santo Domingo de Heredia and Alajuela (nearby the court).

Machu Picchu: More than 20 years old, this has always been one of the favorite places amongst locals and foreigners alike and it currently counts with 2 locations, one in San Pedro (125 south from Ferreterias El Mar, Barrio La Granja), and Paseo Colon (125 north from KFC). Amongst Machu Picchu’s specialties you can find their A lo macho tenderloin, their picante shrimp and their queen sea bass cocktail.

Argentinean Food

La Esquina de Buenos Aires: Once you pass the door (imported from Argentina) of this restaurant, its singular atmosphere will automatically transport you to the Buenos Aires of the past century. In their menu you will excellent dishes from the typical parrilla argentina such as the famous entraña (outside skirt steak) and their Bife de Chorizo. But they are also famous for main courses that include their tenderloin beef in a black pepper sauce, or their filet of sole in a blue cheese sauce. El Novillo Alegre: Come to this restaurant if you want to enjoy imported premium cuts such as the cuadril or the rib eye steak.
