Romanian-American actor Sebastian Stan, best known for his role as Bucky Barnes “The Winter Solider” in the Marvel Universe, spent some time in Costa Rica, filming some of his scenes for the movie “The Last Full Measure”.
Stan portraits Pentagon investigator Scott Huffman who is assigned the case of William Pitsenbarger, (role assigned to Grant Gustin,) an Air Force doctor who saved the lives of over 60 Marines ambushed in a battle of the Vietnam War sacrificing his own life; Huffman battles the political machine in Washington which for private and political reasons had denied Pitsenbarger the Congressional Medal of Honor, he teams up with veterans of Operation Abilene and Pitsenbarger’s father to award the war hero his deserved medal and recognition.
Photos of the actor with extras participating on the filming of the movie were posted in social media. American actor John Savage, known for his roles in movies such as The Deer Hunter, Salvador and The Onion Field, and who has the role of Chauncey Kepper in The Last Full Measure, also left evidence of his days in the country in his social media channels.
For now, these are the only two actors whose presence in the country has been reported, the rest of the cast, includes the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Grant Gustin, Peter Fonda, William Hurt, Christopher Plummer, Bradely Whitford, among others, but, unfortunately for the fans, there have been no signs of them being in the country.
