Trying to predict the outcome of the upcoming 2018 mid-term elections is kind of like going over Niagara Falls in barrel hoping to come out on top.
All the hundreds of candidates – incumbents and newbies – are floating with the river’s flow inside red, blue and white barrels heading to a roaring encounter complete with free fall, screaming and that inevitable crash certain to come in the late evening of Nov. 6. Who will emerge from the barrels unscathed, bleeding or dead on arrival?
Inside the blue barrels are the liberal Democrats and all their hate for the President of the United States. Inside the red barrels are conservative Republicans and all their love of country, the flag and the rule of law. Inside the white barrels are the Independents who ran away from both establishment political parties. Please notice that there are more white barrels heading for the falls than blue or red barrels.
Some of the barrels are made of wood; others are made from metal while a few are made of stone. Which one will survive the fall? That’s easy – the one whose occupant did not scream on the way down because they had faith they’d already won.
Floating down the river you have to adapt and roll with the flow when things change – currents can change in a split second like the wind and thunder – suddenly everything’s different.
Are the Democrats going with the flow? No, they are floating downstream without a paddle glued to their liberal ideologies that are being exposed as dismal failures such as the current ‘state’ of the State of California and New York – both with the highest income, property and business taxes, the highest number of homeless living on the streets and the highest centralized populations of liberals. Washington, Oregon, Colorado and the New England states are right in there, too. The liberal Democrats are wallowing in a sea of self-made mud thick as quicksand pulling them down into the abyss.
The Republicans and Independents are for the most part going with the flow, and some moderate Democrats are going with them in a spirit of national unity, but the liberal far-out-in-left-field are not. They, meaning the Democratic leadership, are frozen in time and they will be DOA at the bottom of Niagara Falls come November.
Of course, anything can happen. Maybe Special Counsel Robert Mueller will finally come up with something strong enough to remove President Donald Trump from office – that seems to be his biased unending focus. Maybe the porn star’s flea-bag lawyer will connect the dots past the president’s personal attorney. Maybe the upcoming report from U.S. Inspector General Michael Horowitz will have recommendations to pursue criminal prosecution of the Clinton cartel and their inside connections with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Maybe former FBI Director James Comey will be charged with felony leaking and lying under oath.
Maybe President Trump’s upcoming summit meeting in Singapore with North Korean dictator Kim Jung Un will fall apart leaving the president embarrassed and Un a victor. Maybe on Sept. 30 federal government funding will stop and the government will shut down –again. This time the Democrats will get all the blame for failure to further fund the president’s ‘America First Agenda,’ the border wall or infrastructure just before the mid-term elections. It’s all in how you play the game.
Out of all the above Horowitz’s report will probably bear the most fruit including recommendations to indict Comey and go after the Clinton cartel, the DOJ and the FBI for all the illegal activity they were all involved with during Campaign 2016. Mueller seems to have nothing on the president that would lead to impeachment. The porn star is fading fast, as her attorney is threatening to sue everybody that interviews him except CNN.
No doubt there’s a lot floating down the river right now that will go over Niagara Falls on the night of Nov. 6. On Nov. 7, Mueller will be as useless as breasts on a boar.
Down past Niagara Falls — on the way to Lake Ontario and the shores of New York — guess who pops out of a stone barrel without a scratch? President Trump! He chose the stone barrel because it was as strong as the stone it hit.
