There are some photos that have surfaced – courtesy of TMZ – of Tom Brady apparently cliff-diving in Costa Rica prior to arriving in Foxboro for training camp. Obviously, that’s not the safest activity for the Patriots quarterback to embark on, and one that might be considered a violation of team rules.

How might that be handled by the Patriots, Bill Belichick was asked during his press briefing? What kind of guidelines do players have in what they can and can’t do?

”We have rules. There are NFL rules, and there are club rules,” Belichick said. ”Those are handled between the club, the league, and the players.”

Might something like cliff diving be inside or outside the team?

”I can’t comment on that,” Belichick said. I won’t comment on any of our club rules. Any discipline we have is all handled internally and not publically.”

Had Belichick even viewed the photos of Brady diving off the rocks?

After a long pause, Belichick replied: ”Does anyone have any football questions?”
