On Tuesday, the presentation “Costa Rica to Feel and Live” took place, presented by the Tourism Department of Costa Rica in association with Peruvian Airlines. The event was focused displaying the various attractions that Costa Rica has to offer.

Providencia, Peru — The event began with an introduction by the CEO of Peruvian Airlines, Alberto López, where he presented the opening of new routes between Santiago and the capital city of Costa Rica, San José, which is awaiting final authorizations by the aeronautical authorities, and will hopefully get the green light during the following months.

The Chief of Tourism showed a video and a presentation that highlighted the most important facts about Costa Rica. The well designed, visually stimulating video showed the advantages of choosing Costa Rica as the destination for your next vacations.

To be honest, wouldn’t everyone look forward to traveling to Costa Rica one day. Why, you may ask?

Here are some good reasons:

-Plants and animals everywhere! The country has one of the highest biodiversity in the world (more than 500,000 living species), with landscapes that go from volcanoes, rainforest to Caribbean beaches. Turtles, birds and monkeys run free in unaltered environments.

-Sustainable Tourism with environmentally friendly tours and boutique hotels which are less crowded than other places in the area. Over 26% of the entire country is protected by the national government. By the way: canopy tours are originally from Costa Rica.

-Attractive perks to live in Costa Rica: High government investment in education, free healthcare and a country that loves peace (no army since 1949)

After the event the images of nature in the rain forest, volcanoes and paradisaical beaches in one of the safest countries in Latin America were stamped in the audiences minds with the sensation that we should visit or, better yet, spend our retirement in the country “with no artificial ingredients.”
