Announcement from the Asociación de Vecinos y Empresarios de Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste.

September is Mes de la Patria  (“Month of the Country”) and the Municipalidad de Carrillo is promoting recycling at the COMUREC (Comité de Mujeres Reciclando/Women’s Recycling Committee) Recycling Center in Filadelfia de Carrillo, Guanacaste. We have received word from Lic. Henry Abarca, Manager of the Department of Environmental Management at the Municipalidad, as follows:

“As part of the celebrations of the “Month of the Country”, on Thursday and Friday September 5th and 6th, we will be running an environmental recycling campaign.

As in previous years, we will be receiving and gathering recyclable materials at our downtown recycling center in Filadelfia such as paper, newspaper, cardboard, aluminum, plastic, glass, as well as technological waste such as scanners, keyboards, monitors, CPUs, printers, toner, ink cartridges etc.

In this Month of the Country, make an effort to keep our country cleaner and greener.”
