The 2014 Expo Hoteles y Restaurantes (EXPHORE) is scheduled to take place at the Pedregal Events Center in San Antonio de Belen, province of Heredia, from Tuesday, May 6^th to Thursday, May 8^th. EXPHORE is the most prominent trade show for the hospitality and gastronomy industry sectors in Costa Rica, and this year it will feature special competitions and awards.

Exhibitors and participants at EXPHORE are the proverbial who’s who of hospitality vendors and providers in Costa Rica. This industry event is highly recommended for hoteliers as well as restaurant owners and operators. Owners of bars, cafes, casual dining establishments, and catering services are also encouraged to attend. Some of the exhibitors that have confirmed attendance to EXPHORE 2014 include: Dos Pinos, Florex, Grupo Capresso, Café Britt, and many more.

EXPHORE is currently sending out invitations to select recipients who will be able to claim free admission to the event. After February 10^th, 2014, event tickets will sell for $5.

2. Latte Foamy Art Duel
3. Coffee Spirit Cocktail Competition

Culinary Cup of the Americas

This is one of the most important culinary challenges in the Western Hemisphere. Chefs from Costa Rica and the Americas will show off their skills with a focus on this country’s regional cuisine.

XHR Awards

Open to interior designers who are up to the challenge of decorating a section of a hotel room and recreating it in real-time as EXPHORE participants observe. Two teams of finalists will compete for this special award.
