Pop star Katy Perry may include Costa Rica as an October destination in her current World Tour, but this information is currently in the rumor stage. According to entertainment reporter Ariel Chaves Gonzalez of daily tabloid Diario Extra, the tentative concert is being negotiated by the Venezuelan firm Eventos y Promociones, known as EvenPro. This concert and event promoter is a market leader in Latin America and usually handles major rock and pop live music events in Costa Rica.

 

The rumor appeared first appeared in various online social network accounts managed by Katy Perry fans in Costa Rica. The social media update apparently first appeared in a conversation between concert and event promoters in Costa Rica who were competing for the business contract that would bring Katy Perry’s World Tour to Costa Rica. Her tour will enter its Latin American leg on September 22nd at the Jockey Club in Lima, Peru. Future concerts will take place in three major Brazilian cities: Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba. In October, this famous pop star will perform in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Puerto Rico, so she may be able to squeeze Costa Rica in between.
