3M inaugurated new global service center in Costa Rica, increasing its presence in the country. This center will provide support to the company’s operations in conjunction with two other service centers located in Philippines and Poland.

The new operation will focus in providing financial services, human resources services, technology information, optimization of processes, data use and service improvement.

The reason 3M chose Costa Rica to establish this new service center obeys to the strategic alliances they find in the country: qualified human talent and the country’s experience in the service sector.

“The inauguration of the 3M service center is the result of the strengthening of the competitiveness conditions in the country. We continue to reinforce the alliance with the productive and corporate sectors in order to generate employment. Costa Rica is a stable economy in growth, with a sustained effort in the reduction of poverty and with the aim to conclude strategic public works. The increase in the next years of one-thousand work positions in this global center motivates us to continue in the route of attracting investment for the benefit of the population” said President Luis Guillermo Solís Rivera.

3M plans to hire talent to expand and improve the services of the new center. Candidates must be bilingual, with advance knowledge of English, German or Portuguese.

Procter & Gamble Costa Rica

Procter & Gamble announced their need to hire 200 employees for their Costa Rica offices in the areas of: accounting, administration, IT, finances, industrial engineering and others.

Recruitment will begin next Monday, November 14 in the central offices of the National University, November 15th in the Latina University in San Pedro, November 16th in the Hispano-American University in Tibas and finally, November 18th at the University of Costa Rica.
