With the visit of the Kardashian family to Costa Rica, many heard for the first time of the Villa Manzu mansion, in the Papagayo Gulf, and of course, many wondered what this place offered for the $23,000 a night the family was reportedly paying.

One of the biggest appeals of Villa Manzu, is precisely its privacy and security, this, along with the luxury it offers and personalized service makes it ideal for celebrities visiting Costa Rica.

The 30,000 square foot mansion is an “all-inclusive” system, it comes fully staffed with highly trained and educated personnel that will attend to every need of the guests, they will even serve as guides. The staff includes professional chefs ready to prepare delicious dishes. Cars and drivers are also part of the price: a Range Rover, a Ford Explorer and a Jeep Wrangler, ready to take visitors to enjoy the wonders of the country.

American entrepreneur Patrick Callahan an adventure-travel-resort developer is the proud owner of this mansion, while Architect Abraham Valenzuela is the mind behind Villa Manzu. The impressive mansion offers eight full suites (15 beds) but can accommodate 22 guests, each of the suites is quite spacious, with ocean views, and tastefully decorated by Houston-based interior designer Lynn Yellen. Callahan told Forbes Magazine he spent some $200,000 per bedroom. The bathrooms are a room on their own, and have outside views from the shower and bath.

Spa with steam room and sauna, yoga platform, entertainment room, two bars, party room, infinity heated swimming pool and a heated splash pool, gym, home theater, access to Playa Prieta private beach club, water sports equipment and wine room are just part of the many amenities offered.

The lush nature surrounding the estate and the 180-degree sea views are part of the charm of Villa Manzu.

The house rents exclusively, not by room, and although prices are not listed, several publications confirm the price goes from $16,000 to $23,000 USD per night depending on the season. Perhaps with a party of 22 each paying their own, it might not be an impossible dream for some.
