The second edition of the International Trade Mission Costa Rica LGBTI event will take place September 4 and 5 at the Radisson Hotel in San José and will have the participation of the LGBTI Chambers of Commerce of Costa Rica, Canada and the United States.
The goal of the Trade Mission event is to bring the attention over Costa Rica as an inclusive and respectful destination for the LGBTI population and their families. The event is organized by the Costa Rica Diverse Chamber of Commerce and with the participation of private sponsors, tourism companies and the support of the LGBTI organizations in the country.
Trade Mission Costa Rica is also an opportunity to network, and is directed to businesses, entrepreneurs, corporations, organizations, private companies and government institutions that are interested in targeting their services and directing their marketing strategies to the national and international LGBTI community.
The event will have the participation of several speakers that will present conferences and forums, among the topics are: Promoting opportunities for everyone/ Business and employment opportunities for LGBTI refugees; Human Rights and Advocacy-Advances of Costa Rica as the Central American leader in diversity and inclusion; LGBTI Integration in Communication, Influencers and bloggers in the social media International Scene, among others.
Speakers and guests include Bruce McDonald, President of the Canada Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce ; Rick Hurlbut, CEO and Founder of Out Agents Canada; Bella Qvist, Travel editor of DIVA Magazine in London; Duane Wells, American Luxury Lifestyle Curator & Travel Expert Writer & Blogger and Ana Helena Chacón, Vice-President of Costa Rica, to mention just a few.
Registration has a cost of $60.00 for members of the Costa Rica Diverse Chamber of Commerce and $90.00 for non-affiliates; this includes access to all seminars, 3 meals and welcome cocktail.
