American Eagle Outfitters Opens Second Store in Costa Rica

The casual clothing and accessory store, American Eagle Outfitters, opened its second locale in Costa Rica this week, said the company.

The new location in the fifth stage of the Multiplaza Escazú shopping center, off Highway 27 in Escazú, opened Friday, October 20.

The store’s first locale opened in 2016 at Lincoln Plaza in Moravia, a district in eastern San José.

The Escazú opening highlighted the company’s jeans which are noted for their style, innovation, pre-wash and perfect fit.

American Eagle Outfitters operates in more than 1,000 stores in the United States, Canada, Mexico, China and Hong Kong, and also operates through 81 international franchise stores in 13 countries.

The Costa Rican outlets are run by Grupo David out of Panama, and also manages brands such as Adidas, La Senza, Clarks and Victoria’s Secret in Costa Rica.
