British actor Christian Bale, famous for his role as a serial killer in American Psycho and more recently for giving life to Batman in the trilogy of the Dark Knight (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises) was spotted with his wife and kids at the Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, Guanacaste.

Apparently Bale and his family have decided to spend their end of the year and receive 2018 in the paradisiac Guanacaste beaches.

Photos show the 43-year-old actor with a shaved head and several pounds overweight, but all these changes which may take his fans by surprise, are part of another physical change he is undergoing for his next big-screen role where he will be interpreting former Vice-President of the United States Dick Cheney. Bale actually posted a photo on his Instagram just about a month ago showing his physical changes and commented “Everything for the movies…” Bale is known for some drastic transformations in preparation for the different characters he portrays, one of them for instance, when he lost 63 pounds for “The Machinist”.
