An English tourist passed away tragically this Thursday in Flamingo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, the victim was 71 years old. The man was practicing snorkeling near Isla Catalina when he was dragged by the waves hitting some rocks.

Even though the tourist received quick attention he was declared dead by the paramedics.
