Staff changes at the White House, reorganizing the Republican National Committee and Make America Great Again Campaign 2020 taking shape are signs that President Donald Trump is in full-steam-ahead mode to win a second term as President of the United States. The Trump Train is putting the pedal to the metal.

President Trump announced last week that White House Chief-of-Staff Gen. John Kelly after 18 months will be leaving his post at the end of December. The president graciously bid Kelly farewell and thanked him for his service. It was briefly rumored that Vice President Mike Pence’s Chief-of-Staff Nick Ayers would take over for Kelly, but Ayers, 36, took himself out of the running saying that he, too, was leaving Pence’s staff taking a break from Washington, DC to return to his young family in Georgia and that he would be involved with Trump’s MAGA 2020 campaign. There are now two high-level chief-of-staff openings in the White House. The squeamish are urged not to apply.

On the flip side the Democrats are still fighting President Trump at every turn. Main stream media is lapping up every bit of negative Trump news coming from the Democrats especially the nasty vitriol coming from U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) who still goes on and on with anti-Trump sentiment involving former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen and those ‘hush money’ payments to the porn star and the Playboy playmate model for alleged affairs with Trump way back in 2006. Schiff is still counting on the Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia/Trump investigation to produce a U.S. Justice Department indictment against Trump that could result in a U.S. House impeachment vote against the president. This guy Schiff will be a non-stop pain in the butt for Trump to contend with.

Of course, main stream media is playing up these staff changes as “shakeups” and “chaos” in the White House which is simply false. The demands of working at the highest levels of the Executive Branch of government combined with a president whose unparalleled stamina wears out everyone working for him – makes staff modifications inevitable. This is life in Washington, DC and it has always been this way, but today’s digital world of instant news on television and social media makes controlling the outflow of information almost impossible. The stress these people are under is staggering especially in the press office. In the Trump administration only the savvy strong survive. If you can’t stand the heat in the kitchen then get out and that’s the way it is. The boss plays hardball every day – not just ‘9 to 5’ – but all day long and into the night.

Tavern talk from every day hard-working Americans tells the real story of what’s important to the voters at home and it sure as hell is not Adam Schiff, the porn star or Mueller. Real Americans are calling main stream media ‘BS’ as they plainly see their president working for them and not big oil or big pharma. Trump cannot be bought or controlled by special interests, the Democrats or the Republicans, but he can be bought by the voters.

With any luck the Trump Train will stay on the tracks until Jan. 20, 2025.

As that plays out and a new U.S. Attorney General is confirmed by the new Republican Senate in January, voters of all colors across America just got a big dose of what America is all about through the well-lived life of George Herbert Walker Bush.
