At least we got past Christmas and celebrated again the birth of the baby that changed everything – the one and only King Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty. Armed with faith we shall venture into the future without fear.

In this era of extreme soap-opera politics on national TV news and social media, those President Donald Trump haters — who claim to be Christian — should change their ways with forgiveness and stop the endless attacks upon a man that has found his way. A man who prays. A man with a robust and controversial worldwide reputation for building a real estate empire. A man who lived with a world-class super model in his Gold and Marble Palace Penthouse in New York City who beat the odds and won the presidency fair and square in the Constitutionally required Electoral College. A man who says he doesn’t drink or smoke or do drugs. Did ya ever see a Trump photo of the Donald holding a gin & tonic with a cigarette dangling from his lips in Las Vegas or anywhere? Nope. Reason is there are no such photographs, but there are some pictures of a younger Trump — dallying with a porn star and a Playboy hottie — dating back to 2006 and before.

Trump supporters don’t care about anything he allegedly did before he took the oath of office for the presidency.

For those that refuse to see it, President Trump has become much more spiritual since taking office and for good reason. His recent solitary walks among Veteran’s Cemeteries — to honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice – are heartwarming and sincere. So right about now you liberal-Trump haters are about to explode over your disagreements that our president could actually be a really decent Christian man that values God, country, tradition and the U.S. Constitution – not radical far-left-wing Socialist baloney that simply will not be bought by the voters let alone that “gender-neutral Santa Clause” nonsense.

However — for Democrats — there is a flash-in-the-pan for Democrats, Republicans and Independents — that of the bright light coming from U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard. She is a delightful Democrat from Hawaii — who is now ‘testing the waters’ for a possible presidential run in 2020.

There are about two or three dozen Democrats claiming interest in running against President Trump in 2020, but Gabbard is the one to watch – she is the number one dark horse candidate. As of yet she does not show up on the radar, but she will. In short, her resume — at 37-years-old — competes with any of the other Democrats seeking America’s highest office. She’s a four-term U.S. Representative, a current major in the Hawaiian National Guard having seen combat duty in Iraq/Kuwait and a vice-chairman of the Democratic National Committee. What stands her apart is her truly independent thinking and she loves to buck both Democratic and Republican establishment politics. She was born on the island nation of American Somoa in the South Pacific and she is a practicing Hindu that firmly believes in the separation of church and state. How’s that for diversity in a single candidate?

In 2016, Gabbard was an early supporter of socialist Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who may run again in 2020. Perhaps Sanders will see the handwriting-on-the-wall and not run again, but will be an early supporter of Gabbard for President. It would be a waste for Sanders to run again with Gabbard his vice-presidential running mate. It would also be a waste of political talent for former Vice President Joe Biden to pick Gabbard as his running mate. Both Sanders and Biden are ‘has beens.’

Recent political stories in Hawaiian newspapers and on CNN, MSNBC plus on-line Politico.com and RealClearPolitics.com say that Gabbard is a serious contender for the presidency and she is expected to announce sometime in January along with many others. She has also written a memoir to be published in May, according to news reports.

Image a bright new fresh face like well-spoken Gabbard debating a 74-year-old President Trump on national TV in 2020. Trump could lose to Gabbard, but not the others. As 2019 rolls in long remember “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
