As you may know, the Playa Hermosa Association‘s Environmental Blue Flag Committee is responsible for keeping our beach clean through daily and annual beach cleanup and working with the Municipalidad de Carrillo and independent contractors to remove large and dangerous debris to keep our beach safe, healthy and clean. The Committee’s tireless efforts have earned Playa Hermosa the privilege of flying the Ecological Blue Flag on its beach!

In the coming months we will also have a monthly recycling program in place where residents can recycle batteries, electronics, fluorescent light bulbs, and other hazardous waste materials.

All of this community outreach takes money and effort. So to ensure the continued success of our Blue Flag Committee and the health, happiness, and prosperity of the Playa Hermosa community, the Playa Hermosa Association is having a Blue Flag Committee Fundraiser!
