American Tourist Drowns in Guanacaste Costa Rica

An American tourist drowned this Friday, September 28 in Playa Prieta near Flamingo, Guanacaste.

The victim, with last name Ramsey was 51-years-old and was dragged out onto the beach by the Costa Rican Red Cross, paramedics proceeded to practice CPR but unfortunately the man did not respond.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are still unclear.

This is the third American tourist to drown this month in Guanacaste, the previous tragedy included a couple by last names Mizokami they drowned in a waterhole known as El Salto de Belen, Nicoya, Guanacaste, September 19.
