Colombian airline Avianca announced the opening of a new route to Munich, Germany starting in November, the flight will be available through the Juan Santamaria International Airport in Costa Rica.

The airline will fly to Munich-Franz Josef Strauss International Airport five times a week, starting November 16.

“Germany will become the third European country that the company flies to, the other two are Spain and England”, commented Hernan Rincon, CEO of Avianca. Rincon also commented that travelers can also connect to many other destinations from Munich through the Star Alliance network, which Avianca is part of.

The route will fly out from Costa Rica Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 16:30, and will have a stop in Bogotá, Colombia. The company will fly from Munich on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
