Three bikini models who are well-known in the lingerie show circuit in Costa Rica crashed into a residence in San Jose a couple of weeks ago, and the driver has been slapped with a lawsuit for nearly $140K.

The defendant in question is Fernanda Jara, a curvy model who was a runner up for the title of Miss Reef Costa Rica in 2014. According to a recent news story filed by entertainment reporter Ariel Chaves Gonzalez of daily tabloid Diario Extra, Miss Jara crashed a late-model BMW against a home in Tibas, a northern suburb of San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica.

On the Saturday before Independence Day in Costa Rica, Miss Jara is alleged to have crashed her car against the residence of Elizabeth Esquivel, who was surprised at 6:24 am by the BMW slamming into her house and frightening here elderly parents. According to witnesses, Miss Jara fled the scene on foot and left her two passengers, who were wearing mini-dresses and high heels, to fend for themselves in the wreckage.

Miss Esquivel, who is now the plaintiff against Miss Jara, did not see the defendant escape; however, witnesses explained that they saw a very attractive woman wearing a short pink dress running barefoot down the street and disappearing after dashing around a corner. One of the women left in the crashed BMW was identified as Allison Gomez, who is also a well-known figure in the lingerie runway shows in Costa Rica.

The third bikini model identified in this case is Alejandra Herrera, who has also been a Miss Reef contestant. Miss Herrera was rushed to Hospital Mexico, part of the public health care system of Costa Rica. She suffered a severe tibia fracture that will prevent her from plying her trade for a couple of months.

The defendant in this civil action has not been contacted. In an interview with Diario Extra, the plaintiff explained that she noticed that the two models who were allegedly abandoned by Miss Jara were drunk and were not wearing panties at the time of the crash.
