The fifth edition of the Chefs & Sommeliers event will take place in Avenida Escazú this Wednesday, April 5, beginning at 7p.m.

The event will have the participation of seven restaurants, among them, La Divina Comida, Apuntto, Santos, Costa Rica Beer Factory, L’lle de France. The restaurants will have the challenge of presenting innovative dishes, which will be served with an adequate wine or beer.

“Chefs & Sommeliers is a high-level gastronomic experience, in an eclectic and unrepeatable environment. There will be an offer of 18 different dishes, created exclusively for the occasion”, commented the organization.

The event will serve as the platform to launch the project “Food Waste” promoted by La Divina Comida restaurant; an effort to reduce the amount of food that is wasted based on cosmetic blemishes, its size, color, or shape.

The organization expects the attendance of at least 250 people; the entrance to the event has a cost of $100 and the entire amount will be donated to Hogar Siembra, a charitable non-government organization that rescues girls in social risk by providing them a temporary home and giving them education opportunities.
