As part of its expansion plans, Concentrix Costa Rica, which has operated since 2005, is now opening its fifth location in the country. The company is currently in the midst of a Costa Rican expansion, with the creation of more than 1,300 jobs in various parts of the metropolitan area; this has generated work opportunities at the new offices and in work-from-home positions.

The new building is in Real Cariari, a commercial center between Alajuela and Heredia, in one of the busiest areas of the Greater Metropolitan Area. The new offices are easily accessible to public transport services (bus, taxi, etc.) they offer food options (located in a mall with a food court) and is secure for everyone.

The new location offers approximately 450 available seats, as well as includes three new clients working from there. Common areas include a cafeteria, medical services, and a games area (pool, foosball, and ping pong table).

Duayner Salas, acting Minister of Foreign Trade, pointed out: “Concentrix continues investing in our country after 15 years of its arrival, this means that the investment climate provides the necessary conditions to execute complex processes and encourages the reinvestment of more companies. Currently, Costa Rica is home to almost 180 service companies, and we are doing our best to keep this number growing”.

Jorge Sequeira, Managing Director of CINDE, commented: “In 2019, Free Trade Zone Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) represented 65% of total inflow. That same year, 70% of the country’s new Free Trade Zone FDI investments corresponded to reinvestments that existing multinational companies carried out in the country. Concentrix’s new fifth location in Costa Rica, with a capacity for 450 jobs, helps to demonstrate companies’ strong local roots and their solid productivity results, thanks to their employees.”
