As of Tuesday, November 8, 2016 Condor airlines will offer direct flights from Munich, Germany to Juan Santamaría Airport in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

This airline provides services from Frankfurt to Alajuela on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays since 1991; and it’s precisely the increasing demand an the raise in the number of passengers that have resulted in this new route.

“We are very happy to increase the offering of flights for our clients. Condor also offers connections from Frankfurt and Munich to all Europe in collaboration with other airlines, so through Condor, Costa Ricans will have access to the entire continent”, stated Carsten Sasse, Commercial Director for Latin America.

The long distance flight will be aboard a Boeing 767-300 with capacity of 259 passengers, the same will be landing for the first time in Costa Rica from Munich next Tuesday. The approximate cost of a round-trip ticket is of close to 900 euros.

“We have been reinforcing all the actions of promotion, marketing and attraction of European airlines with the means end of taking advantage of this important market, which just last year registered almost 400 thousand Europeans. Condor also gives service to a large amount of peoples from Spain, Switzerland, Italy and Austria, and therefore the strengthening of operations in our country will facilitate the mobilization of Europeans from our priority main markets” commented Mauricio Ventura, Minister of Tourism.

This same airline recently announced direct flights to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic one day every week.
