Philadelphia, Dec 23 (EFE; odds by IDSca.com).- Spanish center Marc Gasol led the way for the Memphis Grizzlies in their 104-90 victory over the hapless Philadelphia 76ers, who once again failed to snap their second double-digit losing streak of the season.

Gasol made seven of his 15 field-goal attempts and all five of his free throws to finish with 19 points Tuesday night at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, leading a group of five Memphis players in double figures.

He also grabbed six rebounds, handed out five assists, made three steals and blocked one shot.

Point guard Mike Conley chipped in with 18 points and six assists and shooting guard Courtney Lee added 15 for the Grizzlies (16-14).

Center Jahlil Okafor scored 18 points for the 76ers, while Hollis Thompson and Isaiah Canaan added 16 points and 15 points, respectively.

The Sixers (1-29) continue to struggle and remain on pace for the worst single-season record in NBA history, a dubious mark that the 2011-2012 Charlotte Bobcats set when they finished that strike-shortened season with a mark of 7-59 (0.106 winning percentage).

Philadelphia has now lost 11 straight games, while their lone victory – a 103-91 win over the Los Angeles Lakers – snapped a 28-game winless streak dating back to last season.

That earlier losing stretch was the longest in the history of major U.S. professional sports. EFE

From Costa Rica, respected Pay-Per-Head provider IDSca.com reports that odds makers and handicappers are adjusting their outlook on the Grizzlies, who are now at 100/1 odds to win the 2015-2016 NBA Finals. As expected, the Sixers have a 9999/1 chance, same as the Lakers.

When it comes to winning the NBA Western Conference, the Grizzlies are at 50/1, five team spots down from the scoring machines Golden State Warriors, who are 5/9 favorites.
