The 17th edition of the Travel Show Expo is scheduled for August 23 at the Aurola Holiday Inn Hotel in San José and it will gather close to 100 companies in the tourism industry, including hotels, car rentals, restaurants, tour operators, and local artisans, among others.
The event will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with companies representing products, services and offers of all areas of Costa Rica. During the event there will also be raffles involving tours, and weekends in different hotels.
The Tamarindo Tourism and Commerce Board (CCTT) will be promoting the potential of this Guanacaste beach to attract more visitors. Hernán Imhoff, President of the CCTT said “In the last ten years Tamarindo Beach has experienced a steady growth that has generated many jobs, making tourism the main source of work for this district of Santa Cruz, Guanacaste”.
Erick Asch, Director of the Travel Show Expo commented “For several years now the growth of this sector is out of common areas, it now benefits almost all the Costa Rican territory where we can see important areas of business such as La Fortuna or the Central Pacific; this is why it is important that we know which strategies are being implemented by the public and private sector with the goal of promoting more rural tourism, and the creation of small and medium size companies that benefit the families”.
Aside from presenting the different options to the public, the Travel Show Expo opens spaces for networking, conferences and important information for the participant companies.
