The International Tennis Federation announced Costa Rica as the site to host the Davis Cup 2018 for the Zone Group III of America.

The tournament will take place starting July 30, 2018 at the Costa Rica Country Club in Escazú.

“We are very pleased with the news; it is a big responsibility for the tennis of Costa Rica. We will see games of a great level and hopefully our team will earn a pass”, stated Carlos Bravo, president of the Costa Rican Tennis Federation

Participant countries will include: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Bermuda, Cuba, Honduras, Jamaica, Panama and Paraguay.

All participant nations are looking to earn their pass to Zone II.

“It’s an honor to be the site for this event, after 15 years, this will be a great motivation for the local players”, concluded Bravo.
