Costa Rican boxer Hanna Gabriels will be defending her WBO (World Boxing Organization) and WBA (Word Boxing Association) Female World Super Welterweight Titles on Saturday, May 27 at the Pedregal Event Center in Heredia, Costa Rica.

The information was released yesterday in Fight Club Training Center’s Facebook page, this is the gym Gabriels’ has been training at since her return from Las Vegas.
According to the post, the 154 pounds’ champion will be facing Canadian Natasha Spence.

The Costa Rican idol had her last fight in June of 2016 against Katia Alvarino in Venezuela, and it was with this victory by technical knockout that Gabriels’ managed to unify the titles.

Gabriels’ has a record of 16 wins (11 by way of knockout), 1 loss and 1 draw, she is 34-years-old and is 5’7” tall; while Natasha “The Nightmare” Spence, has won 8 fights (6 by knockout), has lost 2 fights and tied 1, she is 31-years-of-age and it seems that she would be coming up in weight to face the Costa Rican since she is registered in a lower weight division.

Hanna spent several months training in Las Vegas, Nevada after her last fight and returned to Costa Rica in December of 2016 to continue her preparation next to her husband, boxer Bryan Vasquez.

The fight has still not been officially confirmed by the WBO or the WBA, and it is still not showing in the boxing schedule; we will be informing accordingly as more details become available regarding ticket prices and the undercard fights.
