Paralympic swimmer Camila Haase participated in her first competition this morning at 6:37 A.M. in Rio 2016 Summer Paralympics Women’s 100m Breaststroke ; she improved her mark from 01:43:31 to 01:39:99 and classified to the final in 100 m breaststroke that will take place today at 3 P.M. Camila is 16 years old and is the first women to represent Costa Rica in the Paralympic Games.

Update Camila Haase:

Camila Haase came in in the last position of the Women’s 100m breaststroke final. Haase faced tough competition, four former Olympic medalists .  Despite this result, the experience gained is great for the young Costa Rican athlete who managed to improve her time.  Camila will compete again tomorrow September 15 at 6:37AM in the 100m Butterfly Stroke.

 

Cyclist Leonel Solis is scheduled to compete at 10:30 A.M. in the 30KM Chrono Individual race.

Update Leonel Solis:

Cyclist Leonel Solis finished in the 13th position of the Chrono Individual race. 52 year old Solis, competed in the category C4 and finished with a mark of 44 minutes 35 seconds; Solis stated afterwards that he gave it his all and even though the Chrono Individual race is not where he excels he is satisfied with the result. Solis will compete again September 17
