A virtual reality game room opened doors in Paseo de las Flores Mall in Heredia ; VR Experiences offers 40 different experiences geared towards a public 4 years-old and up without age limitation, mixed reality experiences are also available.

“We present the future through our interactive games; we can take you to the depths of the sea to see jellyfish or be attacked by sharks, or travel to space and be an astronaut; we also have roller-coasters and games were the main characters are robots”, explained Andrés Sánchez, co-owner of VR Experiences.

VR Experiences offers headsets (Oculus Rift) and virtual reality glasses (HTC Vive) and the best in new generation Play Station; the cost to play the games depends on the time used, for instance, using the games for 10 minutes can cost close to US$10.00

This is the first and so far the only virtual reality game room in Central America, in fact, in Latin America this experience is only available in Mexico and Peru; it involved an investment of approximately $40,000.00

Jedi Challenges, Arizona Sunshine (zombie game), Space ping pong and Superhero adventures are just some of the games available.

VR Experiences is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
