Here we go again. Another high-profile murder case – Mollie Tibbetts – comes to the forefront allegedly committed by an illegal alien farm worker from Mexico – who police say has confessed.

Through exhaustive police work, Tibbett’s body was found in a central Iowa corn field only about 12-miles from where she disappeared. This 20-year-old vibrant University of Iowa student – loved by everyone who knew her — laid stone-cold dead in that hot summer-time corn field for 34-days as her ‘missing person’ story gained national significance day-after-painful day. A ‘GoFundMe’ crowd-funding account amassed some $400,000-plus reward money for her safe return as the daily blow-by-blow accounts played out on local, national and world news.

Tibbetts was last seen jogging near her boyfriend’s home when she disappeared last month.

When the news broke that Tibbetts’ body had been found and an arrest was made a wave of sadness came over the nation followed by a tidal wave of anger that yet another illegal alien — that entered the USA illegally about four to seven years ago – may have committed this murder.

News reports say Tibbetts’ autopsy revealed she died from “multiple sharp force injuries” meaning she was stabbed to death with a knife. After confrontation by investigators, the suspect took police to where he left her body in that corn field.

The suspect’s lawyer Allen Richards said during TV news interviews that his client Christhian Rivera, 24, was “an all-American boy who was working very hard … his immigration status has nothing to do with this situation.” That statement has inflamed the nation, political leaders of Iowa and President Donald Trump who again came out hard against illegal aliens in his push to strengthen the southern border with Mexico and enforce immigration laws to their fullest extent.

Rivera, police say, has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held on a $5-million cash only bond. Upon conviction, Rivera is facing life in prison without parole. News reports say Rivera had been working at a local daily farm and had used a fake ID and Social Security number to secure that employment.

Haven’t we all had enough of these brutal stories of American citizens ending up as crime victims at the hands of illegal immigrants that should not have been in the USA to start with? Mollie Tibbetts’ funeral is set for Sunday in her hometown of Brooklyn, Iowa – a small close-knit community of about 1,400 residents – the heartland of America.

But on the political left Tibbetts’ murder is being marginalized and polarized by such people as U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) who admits Mollie’s death is tragic but the USA needed to concentrate instead on “real problems” like families being separated at border crossings while attempting to enter the USA illegally. Warren’s comments are a real head shaker. They just do not get it.

How many more law abiding American citizens like Kate Steinle – who was shot dead for no reason on a San Francisco pier by an illegal alien who had been deported several times only to return — and now Mollie Tibbetts — have to perish before a stop is put in place to keep illegal aliens from entering and reentering the USA? Statistics reveal that around 5,000 Americans die annually at the hands of illegal alien immigrants, according to TV news reports.

Deaths like Steinle and Tibbetts – as tragic as they are – serve the public good because eventually they will lead to making nationwide changes to current federal laws. But again the do-nothing U.S. Congress is doing nothing to fundamentally change immigration laws to protect American citizens from illegal aliens. There is much evidence — under current immigration laws — that illegals get more protection than citizens especially with this ‘Sanctuary City’ nonsense.

All mid-term election voters need to remember as they go into that private voting booth – from coast to coast on Nov.6 – are these two names: Kate Steinle and Mollie Tibbetts and vote accordingly. Take those two with you as you cast your vote.
