HP Enterprise Costa Rica inaugurated its new offices in the America Free Zone, seven floors were remodeled after an investment of close to $11 million USD.
Hewlett Packard announced also the opening of 120 new positions in the areas of Supply Chain and Research and Development (R&D); the company is looking for IT engineers, industrial and electric engineers and experts in computer sciences. English is a must, and a third language is a plus.

“Among the main duties these new positions require are: designing and verifying integrated circuits of computer network equipment, developing the firmware that allows the operating system to interact with them, testing network protocols for the company’s products and planning the needs and requirements of its global production”, explains the press release.

HP has been established in the country for 15 years; 3 years ago is started a transformation process and created 4 independent companies, being Hewlett Packard Enterprise one of them. Currently the company has 1,085 employees in the country and also contributes with 300 indirect jobs; 88% of the workers are between the ages of 20 and 40 and 4 out of every 10 are women. The company delivers from Costa Rica services in the areas of Finances, Supply Chain, R&D and Point Next.
