During almost a year, Diverse Weddings, an LGBTQ+ destination wedding business, has waited for May 26th 2020, the day that same sex couples will be able to celebrate love and a historic moment for Costa Rica!
Nowadays, we´re facing an unprecedented global health emergency due to Coronavirus Covid-19, with borders closed and an unforeseen impact in Costa Rica´s tourism industry.
Diverse Weddings has invested time and resources to prepare for a day that perhaps won´t be celebrated as big as we wanted to, due to the cancellation of any public events, social gatherings and so on… That is why, during Covid-19 times, we have decided to reinvent our business and partner with vendors that have our same beliefs, of ensuring respect and celebrating love for the LGBTQ+ community!

We have taken two actions, one driven by improving our services, by getting the LGBTQ+ Inclusive Certification by Equally Wed Pro; after taking the course we have a deeper motivation to support and offer a safe environment to the LGBTQ+ community, we respect and understand their challenges and celebrate along their accomplishments! We will do our best to make more people think the same way!

And a second action of creating alliances with global and local vendors, that will give our clients access to discounts (more than $2000) in products and services! So our LGBTQ+ clients can still dream of celebrating love in Costa Rica (no deposit needed!!!).

We encourage everyone to dream about love, #stayhome, be safe and when time comes, travel responsibly and celebrate love in Costa Rica, a country that has been preparing (like our company) for LGBTQ+ weddings, that is the perfect place to mix adventure and adrenaline with a relaxing or luxurious vacation in the mountain or beach…
