Infosys BPO has announced that it will establish a service center in Costa Rica to serve the American market and support its growth in Latin America.

A press release from the Costa Rican Coalition for Development Initiatives (CINDE) reads:

-Infosys Technologies Limited is a global service information technology company based in Bangalore, India.

-It is one of the largest IT companies globally with 154,000 employees including subsidiaries (data from September 2012).

-Infosys has 66 offices and 69 development centers in the U.S., India, China, Australia, Czech Republic, Poland, England, Canada and Japan, among other countries.

The Costa Rican Coalition for Development Initiatives (CINDE) confirmed today that Infosys BPO Ltd., a leading Indian company will set up a service center to serve the American market and support its growth in Latin America. Confirmation of the news comes after the information was published by NearshoreAmericas on their website.

The center in Costa Rica will initially measure 1000 square meters in a free zone of Santa Ana and will initially employ 100 people with potential for expansion.
