When it comes to technology we sometimes think we’ve seen it all, “everything has been invented already”, right? Well this statement is far from reality; every day technology innovations surprise us, and this will continue to wherever imagination can take us.

How about a T.V. screen that’s invisible when you are not using it? Yes, this is already in the making, by Panasonic. The company presented this impressive design as a prototype in the CEATEC electronics expo in Japan. When it’s on is the same as any regular T.V. When it’s turned off it is crystal clear, so you can see whatever is behind it.

“The OLED technology screen (organic light emitting diode) is made of fine mesh embedded into the glass panel” explained Matt Smith from tech site Engadget.

Panasonic is not the only company coming up with new TV designs, LG presented earlier this year a TV that rolls up like a newspaper, a technology they’ve been working on for over a decade and that could potentially be implemented not just for TVs but also for smartphones and tablets.
