Apple recently announces the launching of new smartphones, which include the iPhone 8 and 8Plus, the iPhone X in commemoration of the 10 years of iPhone and the third generation of Apple Watch.

The iPhone 8 and 8 plus will arrive to Costa Rica in the month of October and will be available for sale at the iCon stores and Claro Costa Rica offices, while Movistar and Kölbi have not confirmed the date in which they will have the new models available and are still working out the financing plans for their clients’ convenience.

Both models will be available with a 64GB and 256 GB capacity and with prices ranging from $700 to $800 respectively.

There is still no official date for the release in Costa Rica of the iPhone X, which will begin selling in the United States November 5, it is possible that it will be available for purchase in Costa Rica by December.

“Going from the dates released by Apple, we hope to have the iPhone X here by the last week of December, both these and the 8 models will be available at the iCon stores and the online store”, commented Juan Carlos Arguedas, General Manager for iCon.

Among the new features offered by the 8 model are: the device can be charged through wireless system, the iPhone 8 looks like the iPhone 7 but it has a steel-reinforced glass back which is what allows wireless charging; the iPhone 8 plus looks more like the iPhone 6S and it has the same back design as the iPhone 8, the camera in both models has improved with new sensors; portrait mode has been enhanced, it has additional color filters, new sensor, and the phone is, of course, dust and water resistant.

The iPhone 8 and 8 plus come in silver, gray and gold.
