The fourth edition of the Gastronomic Festival “La Luz Escalante” will take place this Sunday, December 4, and will have the participation of 19 restaurants.
Food, music and art, merge in this event which will offer a great variety of different dishes and gastronomic alternatives for the attending public in each of the participating restaurants, canopies and booths and food trucks .
Barrio Escalante, a neighborhood in the West of San Jose, near San Pedro, more precisely on 33rd Street, between Central and 13th Avenues, is known for its Gastronomic Road (Paseo Gastronómico), which involves several restaurants which formed an association with the objective of achieving sustainability of their businesses.
“As a festival, we want to offer more and better experiences in each edition , because we want to show that Barrio Escalante is an area full of life, full of big gastronomic proposals and of artistic entertainment”, said Silvia Rodriguez, president of the association.
The Gastronomic Festival will extend from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The following restaurants will be part of the activity:
