Source: Lady Gaga Fans in Costa Rica

Fans of pop queen Lady Gaga in Costa Rica were left hanging on edge days ago when her tour schedule did not show any Central American stops. Back in June, The Costa Rica Star reported on the superstar singer-songwriter’s plans to perform in Costa Rica; at that time, the National Stadium was confirmed as a venue by Juan Carlos Bonilla, a spokesperson for the the Sports Institute of Costa Rica (ICODER in Spanish). The tentative dates were November 2^nd, 3^rd or 4^th.

After a minor scare in early August, a news report by Radio Reloj 94.3 FM last Friday indicated that sources from RPMTV, the event organizer handling Lady Gaga’s appearance in Costa Rica, was preparing to make an announcement that would make all the Queen’s Tico Monsters (as her fans are affectionately known) very, very happy. Lady Gaga’s popular Twitter account had previously displayed a cryptic message mentioning Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, but she also asked her Monsters not to worry, as there was more to come.

At noon today, Radio Reloj once again reported that Lady Gaga and RPMTV did not let her dear Monsters down:

• The Born This Way Ball Latin American Tour will stop in Costa Rica, with the Queen Mother performing at the National Stadium on Saturday, November 3^rd, 2012.

Tickets to the concert will start at 33,000 colones (about $66) for general seating and up to 102,000 colones (a little over $200) for the coveted VIP spots. Initial sales for Credomatic cardholders will begin on August 17^th through La Boleteria. Sales to the general public will begin on August 20^th.

This will be Lady Gaga’s third major international tour. The Born This Way Ball began earlier this year in South Korea, and is already breaking attendance records.
