A sex video that emerged on WhatsApp last week is being furiously shared by social media netizens in Costa Rica. The video appears to show Victor Carvajal, a television host who currently works on a gossip news show broadcast by national network Teletica; however, Mr. Carvajal has already disproved the allegations.

In the video, a young man with a very strong resemblance to Mr. Carvajal engages in various sexual acts with a dark-skinned man. It so happens that Mr. Carvajal is a gay man who is very outspoken about his sexual orientation; nonetheless, he has already gone on the air to acknowledge that he looks a lot like one of the men in the video, but he also submitted physical proof to dispel the rumor.

During a broadcast of the TV program De Boca En Boca (Word of Mouth), Mr. Carvajal bared his shoulders to show the public that he does not have any tattoos whereas the man in the video has stars inked onto his clavicles.

Prior to his current post at Teletica, Mr. Carvajal was a morning host on channel 9 before its demise as a national network with locally-produced shows. While at channel 9, Mr. Carvajal made headlines when he abruptly resigned during a live broadcast, allegedly because he could not get along with a female co-host.

Mr. Carvajal has also been very forthcoming about his sordid past; his sexual lifestyle caused him to be cast out of the family, and he was a homeless youth in San Jose who eventually became a male prostitute working the Morazan Park near the Gringo Gulch. It so happened that a benevolent client helped Mr. Carvajal get a job at a beauty parlor, where he learned makeup application, an activity that eventually landed him backstage at TV production studios in Costa Rica and eventually in front of the camera.

In the past, other TV show hosts who appear in Teletica productions have been blackmailed by nude photos leaked on social media.
