Kahli Gastronomy Center opened doors in Curridabat, a space to enjoy amazing dishes and learn about gastronomy.

The Center is led by Costa Rican chef Sophia Rodriguez owner of Kahli Café located in San Francisco de Heredia. The new project in a 2500 square meter property with 600 square meters of construction offers a restaurant, cooking school, special events area, executive area and VIP area.

Rodriguez offers Costa Rican dishes and original desserts, simple options like sandwiches, salads and soups and more elaborated alternatives like tenderloin in pejibaye sauce, salmon in honey sauce and pumpkin stuffed raviolis.

Coffee is a big part of the Gastronomy Center with the brand Brumas del Zurquí taking a special space with a coffee shop serving a wide variety of coffee based beverages.

The cooking school will offer individual courses with Rodriguez and other chefs as teachers, classes will include, Italian cooking, Spanish cooking, basic cuisine, BBQ, baking, among others.

The event area is specially designed to host events such as baby showers, bridal showers, corporate events, and birthday celebrations; the space can fit a maximum of 100 people.

Kahli Gastronomy Center required an investment of $250 thousand and has 20 employees; it is located 25 meters south from the Vindi convenience store in Granadilla, Curridabat.

Kahli opens from noon through 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
