The Paradise Tattoo Convention will take place today and through Sunday, May 7, at the Pedregal Event Center in San Antonio de Belén, Heredia.
This is the sixth edition of the convention that will bring together more than 100 national and international tattoo artists, musicians and body modification artists.
The organization made a cultural alliance with the Central Bank Museums, the Jade Museum and the National Museum which is why the convention is inspired in the pre-Columbian art.
Attendees will be able to get a tattoo at the convention, where there will find many different options and styles and can choose among some of the best artists, Stan Ruiz from Amunet Tattoo Studio, Esteban Delgado, Guillermo Villalobos, Jorge Ortiz, Katherine Zúñiga, Marco Quesada, Luca Araya, Luis Bonilla, Coki Jara, Manu and Olivia Torres, among many others; guest artists include Steve Butcher from New Zealand, Carlos Torres from the United States, Juan Salgado from Puerto Rico and Chris Núñez who was part of the reality show Miami Ink and is also a jury in the show Ink Master.
Food Trucks from Fufo’s Dog, Grill Out, Patata, Hard Rock Café and Tíos Coffee Bar will be part of the offer for visitors, along with accessories and clothing stores and music by different DJ’s such as Tiger Army, Rocking Reggae and Diesel as well as national band Gandhi.
To attend Paradise Tattoo Convention tickets can be purchased online at Publitickets.com the cost of the ticket is of ¢13.000 (around $23.00) for Friday, May 5 and it includes the entry to the event and the concert by Tiger Army at 8 p.m. For Saturday and Sunday, the entrance will have a cost of only ¢7.000 .
