This article was inspired by the readers of The Costa Rica Star, who are always asking us “when will a Canadian Airline offer direct flights from Vancouver and Calgary Canada to San Jose and Liberia Costa Rica?”

Well, the only way to truly get this kind of change happening, is to gather enough support and signatures from thousands of people in Western Canada who will use this new flight for vacations. West Jet needs to make a profit, so if we prove to them that this direct flight is viable, they might actually consider adding this travel option.

We decided to petition West Jet, because lets face it, they are the coolest and most enjoyable Canadian Airline supplier, and we truly believe they can make this direct flight a reality. So, lets get together, sign the petition on change.org, and move in the right direction to make this a reality.
