Next year marks the 25th anniversary of the Chirripó Race. For the past 24 years madcap runners have been beating the clock in a 34 km marathon up and down the highest mountain in Costa Rica, and this past year a new record was set at 3 hours 5 minutes. For the anniversary run several of the prizes will be dazzling – especially if anyone can beat that 3 hour barrier!

Registration for the race is taking place early in order to make the 25th Anniversary organization as good as it can be.

REGISTRATION WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3RD AT THREE LOCATIONS

–Community Centre (Salón Comunal) San Gerardo de Rivas
–Feria del Agricultor San Isidro P.Z.
–‘Tienda La Gloria’ San José.

Time: 8 am
Cost to register: 18,000 colones (approx. $36)

For those outside Costa Rica who wish to register please contact someone who can register in person on your behalf at one of the locations. They must have your full name, ID, age and your fee.
