Las Catalinas located in Playa Dante, Guanacaste will have a new hotel in February 2019, Santarena, part of the expansion plans of independent hotel brand Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

All rooms feature king beds, sustainable wood floors and spacious bathrooms with a seasonal array of locally sourced amenities; most also boast private balconies with striking handmade Cuban style pressed tiles
The area is also ideal for adventure and wellness activities such as hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and scuba diving.
