Star striker Joel Campbell may be getting ready to exit the Arsenal Football Club of the vaunted Barclays Premier in England. Such have been recent reports published by Sports Vibe, the Daily Star and even Calcio Mercato. Transfer rumors are in full gear as the talented forward from Costa Rica, who was a magician on the pitch during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, considers his options.

According to Sports Vibe:

Campbell was expected to be given more opportunities after impressing on loan with Greek champions Olympiacos last season and during the World Cup with Costa Rica. However, the 22-year-old has had to make do with a dozen substitute appearances plus one start in the 2-1 Capital One Cup defeat against Southampton.

The Daily Star reports that beloved Arsenal F.C. manager Arsene Wenger would like to keep Campbell, albeit with no guarantee that the striker would spend more minutes on the pitch:

I cannot guarantee the happiness of every player. I try to make everybody happy. I personally love Joel Campbell and have a big respect for him and I wish every day that he is happy from morning till evening.

With a January transfer window opening up for Campbell, speculation about where he may be headed next is running high. Here’s the report from Calcio Mercato out of Italy:

AC Milan [is a team] trying to strengthen its offensive line, which is why both the Inter and the AC Milan are observing the situation of Arsenal 22-year-old Joel Campbell. The Costa Rica international is not happy with his manager Arsene Wenger, who has kept him out of the [starting lineup] for matches against Anderlecht and Burnley; the former Deportivo Saprissa player, who during the last transfer window seemed about to join Benfica, has also played for Lorient and Real Betis on loan.

This is not the first time that Campbell has been uncomfortable at not getting enough football minutes on the pitch; however, this is the first time he has hinted at parting ways with the prestigious Arsenal F.C.
