Texas Tech University in Costa Rica Opens Enrollment Period

Texas Tech University in Costa Rica (TTU-CR), officially announced its first enrollment period which will inaugurate the operations of the prestigious university in the Costa Rican campus.

The enrollment period will extend through May of 2018 and the first semester will begin in August 27, 2018. The process can even be done online through the page www.ttu.edu/costarica

Admission requirements are the same that apply for their main campus in Texas, filling out the application form, providing the high school grades transcript, an English tests (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic or Cambridge) and the admission test (SAT ).

Once the classes begin in the TTU-CR in August, the students will have the options to participate during the summer in the USA in short programs under the “study abroad” project, which includes investigation programs, internships, and volunteer programs in the United States, England, Scotland, New Zealand, Spain, China, Korea, Brazil, Ireland and Greece, among others.

Students that graduate from Texas Tech Costa Rica will have a North American degree recognized worldwide. At least an 80% of the professors will come from the main campus in Lubbock, Texas, USA and classes will be 100% in English.
According to information published provided by Jack Bimrose, Administrative Director of the University, students will have to pay approximately US $1,500.00 a month to study one of the offered careers, Electric Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Sciences, Math, and Business Administration for Hotels, Restaurants and Institutions.
