In the past The Costa Rica Star reported on the opening of a new Reuters operations centre in Costa Rica.
Effective immediately, The Costa Rica Star is pleased to offer World News from our partnership with Reuters. We will be making publishing changes to how we handle our content delivery.
From day one, The Costa Rica Star has always had the goal of becoming the Central American version of BBC, so this is the next logical step. In the future we will be partnering with other news agencies to grow the breadth and reach of our content delivery topics. We will continue to publish Costa Rica and Central America news.
For those of you who subscribe to our daily news email, you will see this being delivered between 11am and 1pm Central America local time. The feedback you have given us suggests that morning email overload takes place, and having your news delivered for lunch is more appropriate, so thank you to our readers for the feedback.
Organizing this huge increase in content is another issue we will be tackling, opening Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, and email delivery systems for each category of news will be our next system evolution. On top of this we are preparing a new website layout and functionality, which will allow our readers to absorb more content efficiently. This is to ensure you get the content that you want. You will always be able to subscribe to the entire feed of news across the whole website, if desired.
Thank you for reading The Costa Rica Star, any comments or questions please send us an email: [email protected]
