Unfortunately the current COVID-19 pandemic continues to take many precious lives. The resulting economic fallout is negatively impacting businesses worldwide – in a truly unprecedented way.

As the largest English newspaper in Costa Rica, The Costa Rica Star has long been an industry leader in providing reliable, quality news and information to our readership. Without our loyal readers and advertisers, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

The world is suffering and it’s breaking our hearts. The Costa Rica Star is humbled to have an immensely strong support system. We would like to take this opportunity to give back to our community.

The Costa Rica Star has created an initiative to help local businesses affected by this global health pandemic. The Star is offering a FREE Press Release for any business in Costa Rica who would benefit from the extra exposure during these difficult times.

This is your opportunity to be heard through sharing your story and promoting your business to our global readership. Perhaps you’d like to share what you are offering during this crisis, it can be a discount, a free service or volunteer support. Be creative, be open and be honest – this is the time for all of us to come together and support one another.

Requirements:

1. This MUST be for a current business that is operated in Costa Rica.
2. A well written English press release in word format. Please keep your message to the point, and concise. Include some background on your business, the hardships you have been through during this pandemic as well as what you are offering our readers.
3. Up to 5 high resolution images can be included with your press release OR a link to a YouTube video.
4. All Submission are to be titled “Please help my business.” and emailed to [email protected]

The Costa Rica Star will select 50-100 businesses to have their story shared on our platform. In addition, we will pick two businesses whose stories and/or initiatives have touched our hearts. We will be giving the two selected businesses one banner space to advertise on our website for 3 months (May, June & July) in addition to their Press Release.
